Hillside Meat Processors provides generous $32k donation to Keep the Sheep
Keep the Sheep spokesperson Ben Sutherland was thrilled to announce today a remarkable donation of over $32,000 the Keep the Sheep campaign from Hillside Meat Processors, a prominent West Australian meat processor.
This generous contribution underscores Hillside Meat Processors’ commitment to the sheep industry and the vital role of live export and processing.
Welcoming the support Mr Sutherland praised the donation as a stellar example of industry-wide support for Keep the Sheep and highlighted the essential partnership between live export and processing sectors.
Cam Ferris, Manager of Hillside Meat Processors, expressed his appreciation for the support from local farmers.
“The quality livestock supplied to us in July was instrumental in enabling this substantial donation. We are proud to contribute such as significant amount to Keep the Sheep and this success is a direct result of our strong partnership with farmers.”
Mr Ferris also expressed excitement about future collaborations and reinforced the company’s dedication to ongoing support and partnership with the agriculture industry.
Hillside Meat Processors, a WA owned and run business employing 125 staff, specialises in processing lamb, hogget and mutton products for both domestic and export markets.
