Stop the Ute Tax
Anthony Albanese has slapped a hidden tax on every new ute, 4WD and work vehicle in the country. They call it the New Vehicle Emissions Standard. It's actually just a tax.
It fines manufacturers thousands of dollars per vehicle and those costs go straight to you.
Ford Everest, up $5,000. Isuzu MU-X, up $7,000. Kia killed its affordable models entirely. And the targets get harsher every single year.
In Norway, you can't buy a Ford Ranger at all. That's where this is heading.
But they're not done. The Productivity Commission wants to double the fuel tax on trucking and they've flagged farming diesel as next.
This isn't about the environment. It's about inner-city politicians deciding how the rest of us live, work and get around.
